Skiing in Bormio
A mountain dedicated entirely to sport: skiing, snowboarding, cross-country trails and sectors dedicated to freeriding.
Skiing in Bormio, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, does not simply mean winter sports, but above all it also means retracing the slopes on which World Cup downhill races have been held for over twenty years.
The Stelvio slope is a real experience, starting at 3000 meters and arriving in the village at an altitude of 1200 meters.

The Stelvio Slope did the honors for the greatest athletes and champions including Alphand, Kjus, Trinkl, Maier, Strobl, Eberharter, Rahlves, Bode Miller and Walchhofer three times. They were joined by Italians Paris and Innerhofer, who added to a roll of honor that also saw Svindal win. And one cannot fail to mention the performance of Alberto Tomba, who was the star of the final races of the 1995 World Cup and the slalom he won and with which he crowned success in the specialty and overall rankings (the last Italian to win it).

Bormio’s thermal waters flow from nine springs at different altitudes and feed the two facilities, including hotels, Bagni Vecchi and Bagni Nuovi. For their healing properties they have attracted illustrious personalities and many tourists from all over the world since ancient times.
Bormio’s Bagni di Bormio have a thousand-year history capable to this day of attracting people from all over the world: at Bagni Vecchi-a restored structure that dates back to the early Middle Ages-you can choose from a variety of spa routes and a panoramic outdoor pool with hot water; at Bagni Nuovi, on the other hand, you can lose yourself in whirlpools, cold-water immersions, steam baths, organic saunas, and underwater music therapy. Added to this are Bormio Terme and Terme Libere.

Mountain biking in Bormio means totally immersing oneself in the breathtaking beauty of nature and living an intense experience, far from the usual landscapes, immersed in the peaks, lakes and emotions that only unspoiled places like Valtellina can give.
Bormio is full of trails and itineraries that guarantee fun and relaxation for every category and level of bikers: hundreds of kilometers of trails between farm roads, mule tracks and single trails, between technical trails for the experienced biker, to easy routes for family-sized adventures or for those who want to “take it easy.”
